In 2023, Metro Edge announced the company’s flagship data center development located in Chicago’s Illinois Medical District. The 4-story, 174,900 square-foot facility on Chicago’s West Side will provide mission-critical data storage to hospitals, healthcare, government, and corporate users while also providing workforce training for local residents interested in pursuing careers in the data center industry.
